BIOTRES Project video: Lignocellulosic biomass fractionation

BIOTRES Project video: Lignocellulosic biomass fractionation

In this video, we explain the method performed at BIOCAR-CIEMAT for biomass fractionation in the context of BIOTRES project. One of the main goals is to fractionate the biomass collected after the pruning practices during the maintenance and cleaning of parks and gardens to obtain the corresponding sugars, which can then be converted to different bioproducts such as: caproic acid, polyhydroxyalkanoates and lactic acid.
