CFM: Colloid Formation and Migration Grimsel Test Site (GTS, Switzerland)
[2004-2024]
The CFM is an international project, started in 2004 whose aim is to analyse in-situ the formation of bentonite colloids and their contribution to the transport of radionuclides are investigated in-situ, simulating the real conditions of a deep geological repository for radioactive waste.
The project is mainly carried out at the Underground Research Laboratory of the Grimsel Test Site (GTS, Switzerland).
