13 de feb 10:00 a 11:30: Charla - Coloquio: "¿Quiero ser científica?"

En la charla se abordarán las siguientes preguntas desde la perspectiva personal de una investigadora del CIEMAT: ¿Qué es la vocación científica y cómo se desarrolla? ¿Es todo cuestión de actitud? ¿Cómo ha sido mi experiencia? ¿Qué apoyos externos e internos (motivación, familia, amigos, ..) me han permitido ser científica? ¿He renunciado a algo? ¿Qué me ha aportado el ser científica en otras facetas de mi vida?

Tras la charla se abrirá un turno de preguntas /intercambio con varias investigadoras de la Unidad y se visitará nuestra instalación radiactiva IR-08 (Ed. 12).

15 feb, 10:00- 13:30h: Gymkana de laboratorios

Las visitas consistirán en un recorrido guiado a 7 laboratorios de 4 instalaciones con explicación divulgativa de las líneas de investigación desarrolladas.

XXVII Meeting of the Spanish Clay Society

The XXVII Meeting of the Spanish Clay Society will be held next 19th September at the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Geological Sciences from the Complutense de Madrid University.

During the day, a Prize will be awarded to Young Researchers for the best poster presented, with an amount of € 200 and a diploma.
The program of the meeting will be the following:

  • 10:00. Documentation delivery
  • 11:00. Meeting opening ceremony
  • 11:15. Invited conference: "Past and present in the use of clays: towards its use in advanced materials", by Dr. Eduardo Ruiz-Hitzky
  • 12:15. Tribute Act to Drs. Carmen Hermosín and Juan Cornejo
  • 13:00. Poster session
  • 14:00. Meal
  • 15:45. Assembly of the Society, closing ceremony and awards ceremony for Young Researchers

Our Unit is participating in this annual meeting with the presentation of 5 works in poster format and published in the book of abstracts.
