In particular, he develops his PhD in the study of the stability of the nuclear fuel at interim dry storage conditions, carrying out oxidation experiments with irradiated fuel analogues, simulating accidental conditions during storage. In addition, he also has experience in the behavior of the fuel at final disposal conditions, through the support in the preparation of lixiviation experiments of uranium, and analysis of the formation of secondary phases of uranium. Expert in XRD, SEM, Raman and TGA-DSC.
