ACADEMIC FORMATION
PhD in Advanced Chemistry (Complutense University of Madrid, UCM, 2018). Master in Energy and Fuels for the Future (UAM, 2013). Degree in Physics (University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), 2012)
RESEARCH CARRER
Between 2014 and 2018 she developed her PhD thesis at the URRAA on the stability of nuclear fuel under dry temporary storage conditions (ATC), carrying out oxidation experiments on irradiated fuel analogues simulating accident conditions during storage. The main result obtained was the development of new methodologies for the characterization by Raman spectroscopy of these analogues. During this period, she did a pre-doctoral stay of three and a half months at the JRC Karlsruhe of the European Commission (Germany), financed by a grant from the European GENTLE project.
In 2018 she moved to Germany, where she first worked in a private company and later joined the radiation protection group at JRC Karlsruhe, where she has carried out the declaration of low-activity radioactive waste produced at the institute for three years and the organization of the transport of such waste to the company that is dedicated to the management prior to its final storage.
Since January 2023, she is once again part of the URRAA, where she is working in the research line of the stability of irradiated fuel.
