Bachelor in Geochemistry from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and Master in Applied Chemistry from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Currently, I am enrolled in the PhD program in Applied Chemistry at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
RESEARCH CAREER
My doctoral thesis aims to study the erosion of bentonite barriers in radioactive waste storage applications. Additionally, I have worked as a predoctoral researcher at the Nuclear Physics Laboratory of the Simón Bolívar University (Venezuela) in the characterization of NORM-TENORM materials associated to the petroleum industry and as a researcher at the Autonomous University of Madrid in the Department of Geology and Geochemistry, developing formulations of Magnesium Phosphate Cements for the encapsulation of low and medium activity metallic radioactive wastes.
