New technologies and the continuous advances allow us to improve the techniques of temporal and spatial monitoring of working areas, allowing us to detect changes and act in time to protect our soils and propose actions to recuperate them before damage becomes irreparable. The application in the lines of soil conservation, agriculture and soil recuperation is essential. A key part of our work is to compile soil spectral libraries as part of a referenced data base of soil characteristics. The use of imagery from satellite-, air- or drone-borne sensors, and field and laboratory spectroradiometry are tools that provide us with detailed information on soils within different ecosystems.
